In 2025, the Paris Center for Cosmological Physics (PCCP) became the Cosmos, Science, and Society Center (CSS). This name change is accompanied by a new logo and a new website. This evolution reaffirms the center’s core mission: a science outreach organization affiliated with the APC laboratory that works to build bridges between fundamental research in astrophysics and civil society. Discover their new website and their initiatives.
Since 2010, the Cosmos, Sciences and Societies Center has been working to make knowledge about the universe accessible to all, combat educational inequalities, and foster critical thinking. From laboratories to classrooms, from art-science residencies to public events and even hospitals, its projects place people at the heart of scientific knowledge.

Supporting accessible and inclusive science
The RFPU-Physics of the Universe Endowment Fund, established by Université Paris Cité, provides financial support to the Cosmos, Sciences, and Societies Center to make knowledge more accessible, combat educational inequalities, foster critical thinking, and stimulate public debate.
But much remains to be done: reaching even more high school students right in their schools, inspiring women to pursue scientific careers, and strengthening our presence at the European and international levels…
