Thermal-vacuum vessel
The thermal-vacuum vessel is a facility dedicated to vacuum cycling tests on various equipment or components, particularly for development or qualification models of space instruments. The chamber allows specimens to be cycled over a temperature range from -60 to +120°C, under a vacuum of 10^-7 mbar. The specimen to be tested is placed on a 900 x 670 mm plate, in a 970 mm long and 950 mm in diameter vessel. The specimen can be controlled during the cycling test to check its correct operation at temperature, thanks to three dedicated flanges for the passage of control or measurement cables.
