Science Matter

is a 5 min radio segment about science that is running on the
radio of the University of Rochester.
This outreach program was launched as part of the NSF grant ("Non-Axisymmetric Accretion Engines and Quasi-Periodic Oscillations in Microquasars") with E.Blackman.
Mission :
Our goal is to increase public awareness of exciting ongoing research in modern science and kindle the community's desire to learn more.
An underlying theme
is to communicate the
importance and beauty of the scientific method. The latter
represents the relationship between
experiment and theory and how, through extensive symbiosis
between the two, scientific understanding is achieved.
