Improve The Budget Of The FA Ce

  • If the computer room is the biggest power consumer, we should really discuss about it. There is the question of stopping the ADAMIS cluster which is not fully used. We will soon have some plots about the clusters usage. It would be nice to have some idea about the usage cost.
  • qqs actions menées par Jean, Sebastien et Michele
    • Ces actions prennent en compte:
    • l’arrêt en période d’hiver de la station traitement d’air
    • la reprogrammation des radiateurs.
  • Switching off the Arago Cluster in August
  • no cleaning service in August at the FACe
  • Motion sensitive light switches that stay on for five minutes at a time in the toilet area. Motion sensitive light switches that dim the corridor lights and turn off at night.
  • change lights to LEDs
  • be able to switch off lights in one corridor only (the southern corridor is often bright enough without lights)
  • at the end of the corridors, use 1 light-bulb instead of the 2 installed right now
  • An investigation into how cold the cluster room needs to be. Can it be at 24 instead of 22 degrees, and how much does this save?
  • Coffee at 20 centimes a cup or a monthly contribution to coffee costs by the regular coffee drinkers
  • An aluminium conduit that runs from the cluster room in a loop around the corridor which evacuates the heat from the cluster and use it as a source of heating.
  • heating: have a day/night regulation
  • use double-side print if the single side is not required.
  • use black&white printing by default
  • check the consumption of electrical equipment (computers, lamps)
  • use multi-prise to switch off all electrical office equipment when out-of-office
