General setup

The software

A collection of software packages relevant to the activities of High Energy Astrophysics group is installed at

/workdir/soft/astrohe

The following arrangement is shared by some of the packages:

/workdir/soft/astrohe/${package}/${version}/x86_64

In this case init.sh (or init.csh) will setup the environment.

Other shared directories

General-purpose shared group directory (no backup):

/workdir/astrohe

General-purpose shared group directory (regular backup), maximum 20Gb per group:

/savedir/astrohe

Local at each node, for the most frequently accessed data Read only, managed by softmgr group. Refer to software installation details below.

/scratch/hesoft

General purporse

HEASoft

The most recent (as of 2013/03/06) HEASoft is installed at

/workdir/soft/astrohe/heasoft/6.13/x86_64

Use init.sh (init.csh) to enable it.

DS9

DS9 version 7.1 is available at:

/workdir/soft/astrohe/ds9/

Mission-specific

INTEGRAL OSA

OSA10 is installed at

/workdir/soft/astrohe/osa/10.0/x86_64

Fermi ScienceTools

The latest (as of 05/10/2013) version of Fermi ScienceTools is installed at

/workdir/soft/astrohe/fermi/v9r31p1-fssc-20130410/

To initialise, use:

source /workdir/soft/astrohe/fermi/v9r31p1-fssc-20130410/init.sh
