These days are organized jointly by the "Fields and Particles" and "Nuclear Physics" divisions of the SFP, and financially supported by the CNRS-IN2P3, the CEA-IRFU, the FRIF and the laboratories IJCLab, Subatech, LAPP, CPPM, LP-Clermont and LPSC for this edition.

iDMEu town hall meeting on Friday Sept 1st at the TAUP conference, Vienna

Dear all,

This email announces the first town hall meeting of the Initiative for Dark Matter in Europe and beyond (iDMEu), a JENA (Joint ECFA-NuPECC-APPEC) activity to bring together researchers from different communities searching for dark matter.

The iDMEu town hall takes place on the last day (Friday September 1st, 2023) of the XVIII International Conference on Topics in Astroparticle and Underground Physics (TAUP2023), at the University of Vienna and online on Zoom at a link that will be sent to registrants prior to the event.

The Oxford Handbook of the History of Quantum Interpretations

In the same spirit as The Oxford handbook of the history of Quantum Interpretations, the two days offer a historical overview of the contrasts that have been at the heart of quantum physics over the past 100 years. Drawing on the extensive expertise of several lecturers working in the fields of physics, history and philosophy.
Thus, the objective of these two days is to fuel the ongoing debate on the foundations of quantum mechanics by dealing with the major open questions concerning the interpretations of Quantum Mechanics.
