International Day of Women and Girls in Science

PCCP action "Women Exploring the Limits" (WEL): Paths around galaxies and particles

On the 11th of February, the world celebrates the UNESCO International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
On the occasion, the PCCP invites you to have a chat with five of the researchers of the Paris laboratory for Astroparticle and Cosmology. Take a walk with us through the personal and professional paths that led these women scientists to dedicate their life to unveiling the mysteries of the Universe.

We will explore five different stories of different backgrounds, countries, and seniority in science (from graduate student to group leader). We will discuss what kind of challenges these researchers encountered and which stereotypes they had to navigate as women in science.
