Congratulations to Miles Lindsey Clark, CNRS engineer at APC, upon his election as Technical Project Manager of the next-generation neutrino telescope KM3NeT, currently in construction in the Mediterranean Sea. KM3NeT will consist in two tridimensional arrays of photosensors deployed in the abysses off the shores of Italy and France, to study atmospheric neutrino oscillations and look for sources of high-energy cosmic neutrinos. The APC KM3NeT team is involved in developing the multi-messenger potential of KM3NeT and its ability to determine the neutrino mass hierarchy, as well as in the design and construction of the detector Calibration Units.
