simulation_projection_old(cfg, simu_id, observation, working_dir, verbose=0)[source]¶ run the simulation using the projection method without energy
evts file is saved in working_dir/in/.
Parameters: - cfg (ConfigParser) – configuration container from the configuration file
- simu_id (string) – simulation section
- observation (EclairsObservation) – observation parameters
- working_dir (string) – PATH/directory where to save files
- verbose (int) – print outputs from simulation (default=0)
Returns: sources catalog used in the simulation
